Sit still for 5 minutes, paying attention to your body—what sensations do you notice?
Try to engage all five senses as you pay attention—What taste do you notice? Can you smell your body? What are the sounds your body makes? What physical feelings do you experience? What parts of your body do you see?
Write about your experience for 5 or 10 minutes. Don’t worry if you drift off topic—just go with it!
