Creativity for Writers

A workshop in writing and creativity for writers of all levels. 

This workshop is all about getting inspired! No matter where we are in our creative journey, it can be a challenge to stay creative, engaged, and inspired to do our work well. While this class will target the experience of writers, other types of creative activities will be explored in class. Each class session will include an in-class writing activity and there will be opportunities to have your work critiqued by the instructor and classmates. 

What to expect: 

• Weekly in-class writing activities 

• Opportunities to have your writing reviewed by instructor and classmates 

• In-class creativity (non-writing) activities 

• Group discussions of issues related to the creative process 

• Small class size (maximum of 10 students) 

• Time to get the help and attention you need! 

Dates: Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Aug. 22 - Sept. 26, 2017

Location: Madison Central Library / 201 W Mifflin St. / Madison, WI / 53703

Cost: $165 for the 6-week (12-hour) course for returning students/their referrals. ($20 off the regular price of $185.)

Registration deadline: Aug. 15, 2017 

Registration fee is non-refundable unless the course does not run due to low enrollment (in which case it will be refunded in full, of course!). If a class session needs to be cancelled due to instructor emergency or inclement weather, an alternate date will be scheduled. In the event you register and are not able to attend the course, you may transfer your registration to another person (prior to the first class) or I can email you weekly "packets" with activities, readings, etc. from class.

Please note that this course is for adult writers of any ability or experience level. You must be 18 or older to participate.
